Red Lion Controls, global experts in communication, monitoring and control for industrial automation and networking, announced updates to their Crimson development environment, including dynamic filtering of SQL queries and the release of a German-language version of their software.
In an effort to further optimize data intelligence, the latest version of Crimson has the ability to use expressions in filters for SQL queries. This allows operators to pull a subset of data from a SQL database based on dynamic search criteria. This new feature can deliver greater efficiencies and process control, shortening response time by accessing the right data faster – which is critical when troubleshooting production or operations workflow.
This can improve an operator´s ability to make process improvement decisions in real-time.
