TRACO Power’s new TSR 1E nonisolated point-of-load (POL) dc/dc converters come in two of the most common input-output combinations and are specifically designed to offer a low-cost solution while maintaining a high-quality standard. The two cost-optimized models are the:
TSR 1-2433E (accepting 6 to 36 Vin and outputting 3.3 Vout at 1 A)
TSR 1-2405E (accepting 7 to 36 Vin and outputting 5 Vout at 1 A)
The cost-optimized design maintains high quality standards with high efficiency to 92% and full load operation up to 60° C … as well as a MTBF of 1 million hour supported by a three-year warranty.
The wide input range mean these POL power converters are suitable for both 12-V and 24-V bus applications — and excel in common 5-Vdc and 3.3-Vdc output requirements where cost is a critical concern. The POL converters deliver in these applications without sacrificing performance. In addition, a standard SIP-3 package makes these TSR 1E nonisolated converters work as drop-in replacements for less efficient LMxx linear regulators.
The power converters deliver 1-A output current and feature low standby current; precise power regulation; and protection against conditions such as short circuits, overvoltages, and overloads. These features make the TSR 1E series of converters particularly useful in industrial, test and measurement, and IT applications.
TRACO Power’s new TSR 1E nonisolated point-of-load (POL) dc/dc converters are in stock and available through distributors around the globe — with manufacturing lead times of 12 to 14 weeks. For more information, visit www.tracopower.com/series/tsr-1e for specifications.
